David Minkin began his career at Alston & Bird, establishing Minkin & Snyder in 1986. In 2000 he joined forces with music industry powerhouse Joel Katz to found the Atlanta office of Greenberg Traurig. As managing partner, Minkin built Greenberg Traurig into one of Atlanta’s largest national and international firms. He is consistently ranked as a Georgia “Super Lawyer.”

Minkin has served in numerous civic positions including Board Chair for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta; Board Member of the Atlanta-Fulton County Recreational Authority; Vice Chair for the Jewish Federations of North America; and President of the Atlanta Jewish Academy. He is a Leadership Atlanta alum and a Wexner Foundation Heritage Fellow.

Minkin is a graduate of Cornell University, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Business School. He is a professor of real estate law at Emory University Law School.
